기존 연구에서 사람이 직접 계측기를 활용하여 국부적으로 측정한 것과는 달리 카메라를 활용하여 건축물을 3차원 영상으로 재구성하여 부재 레벨에서 부터 건물 전체적인 변형도와 피해정도를 정량적으로 측정할 수 있습니다. 3차원 영상으로 구성된 영상의 질점 좌표를 구조해석 프로그램에서 그 좌표 값을 활용하여 건축물의 응력 및 변위 분포도를 분석할 수 있으며, 구조 안전성을 정량적으로 분석할 수 있습니다.


목질 재료 물성 연구를 오래동안 수행해 왔으며, 첨단장비와 기술진들의 노하우가 축적되여 목질재료의 물성을 정량적으로 분석할수 있습니다. 목질재료가 가지고 있는 불균질성과 직교 이방성에 따른 응력과 변위 분포도를 3차원으로 계측할수 있으며, 복잡한 형태의 접합부나 재료의 형태에 따른 응력 집중분석을 통한 파괴양상을 실험적으로 증명할수 있는 기술을 확보하고 있습니다.

본 연구팀은 수년간의 목구조 구조실험경험이 있으며, 신뢰할수 있는 구조성능 결과를 다수의 학술논문과 학술발표를 하였습니다.  목구조 형태에 따른 구조성능 실험과 고층 목조건축물에 필요한 요구 구조성능 분석, 재료적 물성분석, 접합부 성능값, 시스템적 분석, 내진 성능 분석등 안전한 목구조 구조 설계를 위한 기술을 확보하고 있습니다.
